Antique Theft from Brisbane Residence

These are details of most of the items stolen from a close relative's
Brisbane home.  The theft occurred shortly before
Christmas, 2004.

In thefts such as these, usually the culprits take their time getting the items to market.
It is not unknown for them to take 7 years to become noticed, perhaps or probably
because the perpetrators keep the items in storage.  As far as we aware, significant
antique thefts are becoming more common, and are certainly being well organized
nowadays. It goes without saying that many of these pieces hold significant sentimental value for their owner

If you have any information about these items or requests for further information,

Please contact the police at the following address:

Detective Ann Vogler,
CIB Hendra Police Station,
485 Nudgee Road,
Hendra.

UPDATE: A very small quantity of these items have been located in Brisbane. There remains the possibility that some of this may be retrieved in Australia, but of course some could have gone overseas. Even so, PLEASE KEEP YOUR EYES OUT FOR THEM!
